About Lisa Little RN, BNSc, MHS, FCAN
RN, BNSc, MHS, FCAN
My professional philosophy is rooted in building and maintaining relationships while inspiring courage to challenge obstacles and lead change.
With over 25 years experience in health care, my consulting practice focuses on health research and policy, planning, analysis, strategy development, facilitation and project management.
I believe in the richness of diverse experiences, which has led me to the following current commitments:
- 1st VP of the International Council of Nurses
- Chair of the Board of Directors of Rural Healthcare Innovations - Dundas Manor (LTC facility)
- Lecturer at Queen’s University School of Nursing
- Reviewer for the Canadian Journal of Nursing Leadership
- Reviewer for the Human Resources for Health journal
I established my consulting practice in 2010 and was previously 10 years at the Canadian Nurses Association, where I served as the director of public policy. While there, I led national research projects, committees, advisory groups and policy initiatives in the quest to shape healthy public policy.
